Manufacturing reports

Sage Report Designer is a separate module in Sage 200 with its own help system.

Open: Report Designer > Report Designer.

• Select Report Designer to access Accounts reports.
• Select Legacy Report Designer to access reports created in the legacy Report Designer.
• Select Manufacturing Report Designer to access Manufacturing reports.
• Select Help to open the Report Designer help or to display help for a window you have open in Report Designer, press F1.

Within Report Designer, you can:

• Copy the standard reports with alternative names and amending the copies as required.

  Open the standard report layout required by selecting it from the appropriate folder on the navigation bar; then select File > Save As and save it with a different name.

  If you amend the standard reports without copying them first, amendments by Sage to the standard reports will overwrite your changes.

• Create new reports.
• Select File > New to create a new report.

• Edit existing reports.
• Select the report from the relevant folder on the navigation bar to open it; make any changes required; then select File > Save.

When you save reports from Report Designer, you must save them in the same folder as their standard equivalent.

You can add new reports to the menus in Sage 200 by using the Menu Design Mode to add options to the menu.
